STEVE Bannon, leading US patriot and victim of the vicious Democrat lawfare machine, told Americans at a political convention they were the revolution who had to stop the Democrats stealing the November election or face losing their republic.
In the words of one man who attended the People’s Convention in Detroit, the speech was a “barn burner”. “I saw it live and in person. Thousands turned out Saturday, just to see Bannon. The crowd was absolutely pumped. Victory or Death,” he posted on X.
“You are the vanguard of a revolution, do you understand that,” Bannon shouted to the delegates, warning Democrats in all seats of power that the new Trump administration would “go and get every receipt into the fullest extension of the law. You are going to be investigated, prosecuted and incarcerated. Okay? We’re not going to stop.
“This has nothing to do with retribution, this has nothing to do with revenge, this is about saving this republic. We’re going to use the Constitution in the rule of law to go after you and hold you accountable,” he said, in reference to the Democrat-dominated US Department of Justice. November 5th is judgment day, January 20th 2025, is accountability day.”
Bannon went on to say President Trump, due to his multiple prosecutions, was now eligible for 700 years in prison. “They want him to serve all of it. They bankrupted him, they smeared his name and on July 11th they’re going to start by giving him a several-year prison sentence and have Judge Merchan the custodian of where he can go and where he can campaign in direct election interference.”
Bannon, Trump’s former adviser, faces a four-month jail sentence starting in July after a federal judge convicted him for contempt of Congress, for defying a subpoena from the House committee that investigated the so-called US Capitol insurrection.
Bannon was convicted two years ago on two counts of contempt of Congress: one for refusing to sit for a deposition with the January 6 House Committee and the other for refusing to provide documents related to his involvement in Trump’s efforts to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election, allegedly won by Joe Biden after massive early-morning vote dumps erased Trump’s clear leads in critical states.
US District Judge Carl Nichols in Washington granted the Justice Department’s request to make Bannon begin his prison term after a federal appeals court panel in May upheld his contempt of Congress conviction.
The convention was organised by Turning Point USA, the young Republicans political action organisation run by Charlie Kirk.
