Wasn’t it just 2 years ago 100’s of tons of grade A1 avocados were dumped in the Mareeba land fill by order of Woolworths for price control?
Wasn’t it Both ColesWorths with gruberment in that wiped out the citrus industry in Far North Queensland because Colesworths wouldn’t sell citrus unless it’s was toxic gassed that the farmers couldn’t afford the gass chambers?
Wasn’t it Colesworths that bring par bread in from overseas and sell as 100% Australian fresh baked?
Wasn’t it Colesworths with support from gruberment that was instrumental in deregulation of the dairy industry that led to China owning 90% of Australian milk factory’s and Chinese owned Canadian & New Zealand owning the remaining 98% ?
Wasn’t it ColesWorths that with gruberment that pushed unions to collapse 95% of regional independent abattoirs to close so that the new ColesWorths centralised processing facilities could control the supply chain?
Don’t be fooled people about fresh fruit vegetables and meat quality products or location information, the majority of good stuff is exported and if you buy from ColesWorths it’s a lucky dip.
And Just for reference I do my main shopping run (480km round trip) 4 times a year, twice now when I go to Stockmans egg farm I’ve been told I can only get one tray of eggs ( I normally get 2) they say the government called them to say there is an egg shortage and they can sell one unit per customer, I said are you running short? They say NO.
