The prominent US rightwing activist has died after being attacked during a public event in Utah
Charlie Kirk, a major supporter of Donald Trump and the executive director of the Turning Point USA non-profit, has died after a shooting at Utah Valley University, the US president has announced.
The activist was shot in the neck while delivering a speech before a crowd gathered on the university grounds. The suspected attacker was apprehended at the scene, while Kirk was rushed to a local hospital.
